Refreshing Soaks: Tues., Dec. 10 | 6 - 8 p.m.

Michelle from Cutting Root Farm will lead us through herbal discussions and hands on medicine making activities to make safe, effective and yummy herbal formulas in tea blends, syrups, salves and soaks. In each class we will learn about herbs for each preparation, recommended herbal formulas and different medicine making techniques. We will taste and get to know locally grown herbs and make a personalized medicine to bring home to use.

In this session of Medicine Making, learn what makes teas so beneficial to us, and how each ingredient can play a different role. We will sample several herbal teas, as well as get the chance to mix personalized blends to bring home and apply to our own home practice. This session focuses on relaxing and restorative herbs like skullcap, lemon balm, wood betony and oatstraw.
