Jazz and funk bassist Dwayne Dolphin was recruited out of high school by Wynton Marsalis to tour with his quintet. A member of the Pittsburgh Jazz Hall of Fame, Dolphin has played and recorded with luminaries including Hank Jones, Nancy Wilson, Pharoah Sanders, Fred Wesley, and John Hicks. Phipps is honored to host Dwayne Dolphin for an unforgettable performance in our lush Outdoor Garden.
Light concessions and refreshing beverages including sparkling juice, wine and beer will be available for purchase.
