Our first-ever in-person Medicine Making series will give you the ultimate jumping-off-point to start your herbal remedy journey. Join Michelle Soto from Cutting Root Apothecary as we dive into the ancient art of Herbal medicine and how to incorporate it into our everyday lives. This series is hands-on, with each class tackling a different subject and product. Learn how to work with various plants and make medicinal syrups, teas, and tinctures. Michelle will share stories and information about each plant and how to use them. By the end of the series, you will have made a small apothecary for your home.
What is a tincture and how do we use it? In this class, Michelle will lead us through what makes Tinctures different than other Medicines and the best plants for them. We will sample some from Cutting Root, make our own, and discuss when to use which.
