The many advancements in manufacture and transportation during the Industrial Revolution ushered in significant changes in garden design and horticulture. Although named after the contemporary Queen of England, the Victorian style quickly became popular in the United States. From plants to production, discover how technology shaped the aesthetic desires of a growing portion of each population for their private, residential gardens and what vestiges of the style are evident today.

Instructor: Joshua Beblo holds a Master of Landscape Architecture from Penn State University and a Master of Education from Duquesne University.
