Join UK-trained horticulturist and garden designer Julie Witmer for two intensive online sessions about how to adapt British-inspired plantings and garden design elements to your own garden.
Then for the third session on May 30th, join fellow students for an in-person, guided garden tour at Julie Witmer’s private one-acre garden, Havenwood, in Grove City, PA. Please plan to attend all three class sessions.

Instructor: Julie Witmer
$85 members and Sustainable Landcare accredited professionals | $94 nonmembers
Objective: Learn British-inspired garden design elements in order to adapt them to conditions of Pennsylvania.
Level: Beginner to Intermediate
Prerequisites: none
This class is an elective in the Ecological Gardening and Landscape Design certificate programs. Approved for 5.0 CEUs for landscape architects by LACES.
The Saturday field trip is to the Instructor’s home in Grove City, details will be discussed in class
Instructor: Julie Witmer works to create beautiful and ecologically sensitive gardens across the continental United States. She obtained a Horticultural certification from the Royal Horticultural Society in Wisley, UK, after four years of plant propagation and sales with a local PA perennial nursery.
